Application Overview

The extreme surface area amplifies every raw material inconsistency: a minor batch variation in flux content that would cause barely detectable warping in a 300x300mm tile becomes a severe flatness defect across a 2400mm slab. This makes batch-to-batch consistency the number one selection criterion for raw materials in large format production. Our wet-process production with multi-stage magnetic separation and hydrocyclone classification delivers the tight specification control that large format producers require. K200 is the standard grade for white-body slabs — its 200-mesh particle size ensures rapid, uniform reaction during the fast-firing cycle (typically 50-80 minutes for large format).
