120M+ tons of nepheline syenite at Jiulongshan, Anyang County
Our quarry at Jiulongshan (Nine Dragon Mountain) in Shanying Town, Anyang County, is one of China's largest nepheline syenite deposits. Independent geological surveys have verified reserves exceeding 120 million tons β ensuring decades of stable supply from a single, well-characterized ore body. The open-pit mining method allows our geologists to visually inspect each mining face, directing excavation toward the highest-quality ore zones and ensuring consistent feed quality for our processing plant.
Mining operations use conventional drill-and-blast techniques. The blasted ore is loaded by hydraulic excavators onto haul trucks that transport the material approximately 500 meters downhill to our crushing station. The short haul distance keeps transport costs low and enables rapid ore delivery to the processing plant. Our mining team monitors ore quality at each blast face, segregating different quality zones to maintain consistent feed chemistry.

The extraction process follows a planned sequence: geological survey and blast pattern design, drilling and controlled blasting, excavator loading, truck hauling to the primary crusher, and initial quality inspection. We maintain a rolling 3-month mining plan that optimizes ore quality against the current production schedule, ensuring the processing plant always receives ore within the target chemistry range.

Our nepheline syenite ore is a medium-grey igneous rock with visible feldspar and nepheline crystals. Fresh surfaces show the characteristic granular texture. The ore naturally contains high total alkali (K2O + Na2O above 14%) and moderate alumina (20-21% Al2O3), with relatively low natural iron content that our wet-process further reduces to industry-leading levels.
